Additional Rescuers Needed

Princes Park Eastbourne Cygnets Release

As we approach the busy season, we are in need of a few additional rescuers to help with collections and rescuing of casualties.

We are in need of rescuers for the following shifts:

Monday evenings 6pm till 10pm.
Wednesday day time 10am till 6pm
Friday evening 6pm till 10pm.
Sunday day time 10am till 6pm.
Sunday evening 6pm till 10pm.

We are also interested in anyone able to work from 7-8am in the morning till 10am ish, ideally over multiple mornings a week.

People need to be flexible with finish times due to the nature of the work rescues can go on past the finish time as in any emergency/on-call work.

Volunteer Rescuers need to be presentable and able to work with the public and communicate well. They will be based at our Casualty Centre at Whitesmith on the A22 half way between Hailsham and Uckfield, and only about 5-10 minutes away from Lewes.

Commitment and reliability is important.

Full driving licence required and able to use own car if under 25. (Mileage is reimbursed when using own car for rescues if necessary).
