Supporter to run the London Marathon to raise funds for WRAS

For the first time East Sussex Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service (WRAS) has one of its supporters running the London Marathon to raise funds for the cause.

Martin Perera-Sweetman will be running the 26.2 mile course on the 13th April 2008. Martin’s wife Susie works as a volunteer at WRAS’s Casualty Care Unit at Horsebridge and has persuaded her husband to raise funds for WRAS.

"This is a worthy cause and goes some way towards redressing a little of the eco damage, however it is one which really needs the money to keep its service running" said Martin.

East Sussex WRAS is in need of replacing two of its veterinary ambulances and needs help covering vets bills, phone bills, travel expenses and all the other associated costs of running their service.

Please contact us if you’re interested in sponsoring Martin.
