East Sussex Wildlife Rescue & Ambulance Service is holding its “Indoor Natural Trail” event at East Dean Village Hall just outside Eastbourne on Saturday 19th September 2015.

The event is held between 10am and 5pm and is ideal for anyone interested in nature and what is going on in East Sussex to help support our valuable wildlife.  There will be guest speakers throughout the day taking about topics like WRAS wildlife ambulance service, British Divers Marine Life Rescue’s work helping whales, dolphins and seals and even the Fire Service’s involvement in animal rescue work.

The main hall will have a variety of stands where people can learn more about wildlife and how we can help them, as well as craft stalls too.  Other organisations attending include Bird Aid, Sussex Biodiversity Records Centre, Sussex Badger Vaccination Project.

Between 12noon and 2pm vegetarian food will be service for a donation to help local wildlife.

Refreshments will also be available throughout the day.

“Last year’s event was a great success and really well attended and we have lots of really good feedback” said Trevor, “ so this year we have invited a few other different organisations and we are really looking forward to a great educational day. The event is suitable for a wide range of people from students studying animal science and conservation to the young and old interested in just learning more about how to help their local wildlife.”

The event is free of charge but donations are very much appreciated.
