East Sussex Wildlife Rescue & Ambulance Service has been presented with a cheque for £1,000 from local Slimming World groups thanks to their joint efforts in raising money for East Sussex WRAS and Absolute Angels, a homeless charity in Eastbourne.

More than 70 members of three Slimming World groups in Crowborough and Hailsham took part and lost hundreds of pounds during the year.

The groups raised £1000 which was matched by a generous Hailsham member which meant both charities received more than was expected.

A huge thank you to everyone at Slimming World for raising so much money and for helping support the vital work at WRAS!
