They now manage a 50-acre farm with Shetland sheep, chickens, horses, and dogs, and enjoy a self-sufficient lifestyle with a thriving vegetable garden. David first encountered WRAS when seeking help for injured wildlife on the farm, including hedgehogs and an owl. He is also active in his local village community and passionate about animal welfare and conservation.

Linda Dunn joined WRAS as a trustee in early 2020, bringing extensive experience in recruitment, HR, business development, and project management from her work in both the charity and public sectors. A dedicated volunteer, Linda has supported WRAS in the orphan room, cared for overwintering hedgehogs, and helped with feeding and cleaning shifts. Her hands-on involvement has deepened her passion for wildlife, and she feels she has truly found her niche with WRAS, contributing her skills and compassion to support the charity’s vital work.
