Local wildlife charity East Sussex Wildlife Rescue & Ambulance Service (WRAS) will be raising money and have information leaflets and newsletters available at a display in the Arndale Centre Eastbourne on Wednesday 21st January 2015.
WRAS volunteers will be manning the display all day to raise awareness of the charities work and to give out information leaflets about common issues like Grounded Birds, Hedgehogs out during the day time, birds which have hit windows, road casualties and more.
This year sees WRAS celebrating its 20th year as a voluntary group and founder Trevor Weeks MBE celebrates his 30th year undertaking wildlife rescue and conservation work. The charity has expanding over the years to provide a valuable service to the people and wildlife of East Sussex receiving over 3000 calls every year.
