Dog show raises £760 for WRAS

WRAS Charity Companion Dog Show on Sunday 27th July raised an amazing £760 to help sick, injured and orphaned animals and birds.

The day was a great success with over 40 dogs attending the event. Local Dog Warden Gloria Gardener attended with information and advice for dog owners along with local pet store Tatty Matts as well as various Lions Club Members who agreed to help with the running of the show.

WRAS would like to thank Deidre Hallet for all her hard work in organising such a well organised and well run event. Thank you also to all the volunteers who helped on the day as well as those who donated raffle prizes, cakes and refreshments.

Also a big thank you to the main sponsors of the event Lifestyle Windows and Conservatories as well as Highcroft Vets, Tatty Matts, First Call Inks, Langney Domestic Appliances, MS Cornford Plumbing and Heating, Shoecare (Hailsham), The A22 Pet Store, Legends Hair and Beauty, Sumfield and Day Printers and Stationers, Seaford Fencing, Jolley's, Hailsham Pavilion, Devonshire Park Theatre, Coral Greyhounds Stadium, Kings Head Pub Horsebridge, CVS Eastbourne, ESK and Wagg Dog Foods.
