Last week we returned 2 badgers back to their home areas.
One was rescued from Amberstone Hailsham following an rta. He was unable to use his left side when he arrived
The other from Horam who came in after being found under a car suffering from territorial wounds to his rump and an abcess to his back.
Getting these casualties back to the wild has to be one of the best part of Wildlife Rescue ...

Our first group of blackbirds this year have now found freedom and been soft released back to the wild.
Included in this group was one young blackbird who came into care with a wound on his back very cold and poorly on arrival. After the wound was treated and he was on a course of treatment he went from strength to strength. There is only 7 days between the last 2 photos! ...

We currently have 5 Tawny owlets in care.
As tawny owlets grow they are often seen branching out side of there nest, on branches around the tree or occasionally found at the base of the tree. These are left alone and monitored as they are likely returning to the nest and being looked after he their parents.
Sadly on all 5 occasions they were either too young to be branching, away from a clear nest site or in a dangerous location (on a main road). ...
