WRAS Xmas fair to be opened by South East Today presenter Beverley Thompson

BBC1 local news presenter Beverley Thompson will be opening WRAS's Christmas fair on Saturday 6th December 2008.

The fair opens at 9.30am and runs until 1pm. There will be refreshments available along with various stalls selling bric-a-brac, toys, cakes as well as a raffle, visit from Father Christmas too. There will also be stalls from Roger's Wildlife Rescue, Southdowns Badger Group and Paws & Claws.

Beverley Thompson first learned of WRAS's work after finding a road casualty fox on the A27 Polegate Bypass where she delivered the poor creature down to St Annes Vets in Eastbourne. The vets practice passed the poor creature on to WRAS to rehabilitate back to health and eventually release.

Beverley Thompson presenter on BBC1's South East Today news will be opening the fair at 9.30am.
