Rescuer Thea has been out to this frighten little chap at Truffles Bakery in Uckfield High Street. He is now at WRAS where he will be checked over and given a safe space to develop and grow fit enough to be eventually released back to the wild.

Its that time of year when foxes are making a lot of noise attracting mates, and running around ignoring humans because they are fixated on finding a vixen in season. We also start to get the phone calls about foxes being stuck rear to rear, not something people get to see very often, but it is just part of the mating process. After mating they can't separate straight away and have to wait sometimes 2 or more hours before they can separate. Please don't chase them off or throw anything at them, please leave them be to sort themselves out.
