A badger was dragged, alive, along a main road between Hadlow Down and Cross in Hand, East Sussex on Saturday night after being hit by a car late at night.

The local unit then contacted East Sussex Wildlife Rescue & Ambulance Service (WRAS) for help after confirming the badger was still alive. » Read more

Rest In Peace

Meta Mann,

23rd Jan 1938 - 26th Aug 2022.

East Sussex WRAS would not exist today if it wasn't for Meta and her influence in founder Trevor Weeks's life at an early age. Meta will be remembered in our hearts for years to come as a kind and compassionate lady who loved animals, dog walks, crafts and much more. » Read more
