This lovely mallard got himself into a bit of trouble after getting covered in some sort of oil or lard.

He was spotted in Uckfield after being left behind by all the other mallards when they flew off and he was left all on his own even after a few days.

He was a very good patient. After a few fairy washing up liquid baths to fully remove all the contaminant on his feathers followed by time in a bath for him to swim, preen and fully re-waterproof himself we were able to return him to where he was found.
