2021 is East Sussex Wildlife Rescue & Ambulance Services 25th year since it was established as a voluntary group in 1996.

After the success of our 2020 Virtual Run we have decided to run another.

We would love your help in raising money for East Sussex WRAS by taking part in our virtual run again this year. Entry is £12.50 + eventbrite fees.

This year it is a little different to last year. We want you to complete 2.5 miles (4km) as its our 25th Year.

It doesn't matter how fast you do it. We don't mind if you walk too! You are welcome to do it just in your house and garden or even on a treadmill!

Over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th April 2021 we want you to record a run or walk from your home. Record it on a fitness, exercise or tracker app on your phone or just take a photo of yourself taking part, and we’ll send you your medal, WRAS Pen and certificate afterwards.

To get your medal and certificate you will need to send a screen shot of your fitness, exercise or tracker app showing how far you have gone or a photo of you taking part, along with your name, time and distance, to events@eastsussexwras.org.uk. Don't forget to include on the e-mail your name, address, how far you managed to get and your time taken. We will try to upload as many photos sent to us as possible when sent to us over the weekend during the event.

Lates Entries after 12noon on Friday 26th March 2021 may take slightly longer to send out medals and certificates, but entries will be eligible up to the end of Sunday 4th April. Enter as normal.

You can help raise even more money by getting your friends and family to sponsor you too.

We cannot stress enough how important it is to maintain social distancing whilst taking part and to only run or walk from home, and to keep your activity within any local or national restriction on exercise due to Covid-19.
