An celebration of Sussex Wildlife taking place at East Dean is now Free Entry thanks to a generous donor!

East Sussex Wildlife Rescue & Ambulance Service’s Indoor Nature Trail event being held on 11th October at East Dean Village Hall from 11am till 5pm,  is now free entry thanks to one of the charities generous supporters.

“The event was originally set up to help raise funds and as an educational event but thanks to one of our donors we can now offer free entry to the event” said a delighted Trevor Weeks MBE founder of East Sussex Wildlife Rescue, “our donor was very keen for as many people as possible to be given the chance to come along and learn more about our local wildlife that she has funded the costs of the event and in return we are just asking people to make a donation if they come along. We are really pleased that we can open this up and help expand our reach to as many people as possible.”

WRAS’s donor wishes to remain anonymous but said “I love our wildlife  and the work of Trevor and his team at WRAS is fantastic. If this help people to care and love our wildlife as much as I do then it will have been worthwhile funding this event. As this is the start of Trevor’s 30th year I though this would be a great way to celebrate."

The Indoor Nature Trail will have numerous stalls, displays, events, presentation and talks from a wide variety of rescue and conservation organisations. Refreshments and food will be available too.
