Wildlife supporters are wearing a new T-shirt designed by 20 year old Sharna Richardson from Hastings.

Two months ago East Sussex Wildlife Rescue & Ambulance Service (WRAS) ran a competition to design a new T-shirt for the charity and after numerous entries and voting from WRAS’s volunteers a new T-shirt design was born. The design consists of a badger, hedgehog, bird and fox head looking up at “WRAS” .

“We thought the design was really simply and as the wildlife of East Sussex looks to WRAS for help when sick or injured the design was very fitting” said WRAS founder Trevor Weeks MBE.

The T-shirts have now been printed and now available at £12 plus £2.50 postage from East Sussex WRAS and can be order by calling 01825-873003 or by sending a cheque payable to “East Sussex WRAS” to East Sussex WRAS, Unit 8, The Shaw Barn, Whitesmith, East Sussex, BN8 6JD. T-shirts can be collected by arrange by calling 01825-873003.

East Sussex WRAS runs one of the busiest wildlife ambulance services England and helps thousands of casualties every year from mice and badgers to robins and swans.

“Our volunteers really like the T-shirt and have already be buying the T-shirts and they are proving very popular. Sharna has done a great job with the T-shirt and we are really pleased to be able to present her with her £50 prize money” said Trevor Weeks.
