Rescuer Keith was called out to deal with two grass snakes entangled in netting over a pond in Friston this morning.

The two snakes were tightly entangled and had to be brought back to WRAS's Casualty Centre to have the tighter parts of the netting removed.

They will now be assessed and monitored for potential ligature wounds and released back into their home range once fit and well.
